I hope that is ok, many of us are landlords at 投資理財, can learn from this case.

few things I think went wrong here..

1. you completely trusted the management company without doing any your own homework, that is not good landlording.
2. you use the same attorney as the management company, conflit of interest.
3. you should have your own liability insurance to fall back on.
