一般都是兒子

銀行的共同賬戶絕大多數時候都是 joint tenancy. 所以父親
死後錢就是兒子的了。 joint tenancy does not go through
probate, 不算遺產。 有人把 joint tenancy 叫 poor man's will 就是這個道理。

不過也有特例。 有的洲不承認 joint tenancy. 有時候開戶頭
的時候就寫明了不是 joint tenancy. 要看具體情況。
