Should I inform auto insurance company when I get a ticket with

I had an accident in last Nov, and my auto insurance paid for car repair and asked if I got a ticket because of the accident. My premium increased when I renewed the policy in the past March although I told them I did not get a ticket. However, I received a ticket with one point in the April (significant delay with an unknown reason), should I inform my auto insurance about the point now?
