I do think, a non-working mother is better suited to take care of children, especially when they are young. I believe most judge will have the same opinion. With child support and some kind of compensation, it should be possible for a non-working mom to take care of kids for a few years -- at least a judge should be able to make it happen.

I do agree that woman should be financially independent; however, now is not the time.

無奈的選擇 did not say why divorce is unavoidable. If it is in-law problem and your hu*****and loves his kids, it is possible to settle this peacefully without spending tons of money on lawyers.
