Base on 加拿大 Limitations Act, 2002. The Statute of limitations 齡追訴期)有關您的情況應該是兩年
相關法令如下
4. Unless this Act provides otherwise, a proceeding shall not be commenced in respect of a claim after the second anniversary of the day on which the claim was discovered. 2002, c. 24, Sched. B, s. 4.

您的情況因為已經事隔八年,超過了法律的追訴期,所以您可能無法經由法律訴訟的管道取得欠薪.
