An important pre-drug was discoveried recently in our lab just before I am ready to terminate my postdoct life here. My boss is preparing patent now. I am sure some companies will buy it after we patent it because they are searching for this kind drugs for long time. My question is: Will I get some money after the patent is sold according patent law (surely my name will be on the patent). What happen if I leave here? Thanks.
