Yes. They wanted to remove mine before approval with the execuse of safety. However, there are 500 posts with safety issues.
Just an update, I decided to work at home today. The construction team came today and saw me sit on the deck, and they ran away. The Board of directors said they have right to access my deck (common area). I emailed them saying if any stranger come to my deck without my permission, I will take action to defend myself. I am worried they will come again when I am not at home..
