I agree that it is always good to know how to protect yourself..

I was just trying to make a point that statistically speaking most of the innocent people would react quite differrently from this case. You can ask arround your friends and find out the statistics data. Maybe you are right, I start to think (thanks to your reminder) that we Chinese in the USA would react differently from other nationalities. This is (maybe) a bigger question, why we most often think we are guilty when we have not done nothing wrong yet. Strange, isn't it?
