My reading of the post is that the poster is not talking about damage to her car. Rather it is an issue about the condition of the car port and parking. If the apartment was
listed as with COVERED parking space, then she should be able to get a rent reduction due to failure of the owners
to live up to their part of the contract. There are certainly many unknown issues to determine the best course of action.
