Is this unusual to sign an employment agreement after 5 years

I have been working with an company for more than 5 years. I transferred to another office 3 month ago to be with my hu*****and in another city. Suddenly I got an employment agreement. Nobody mentioned it to me before and the agreement was left on my desk even HR talked to me about some other issues 2 days ago.

I am not comfortable with some terms in the agreement. I am thinking leaving but don't want to burn the bridge. I am sure it is not easy to change the terms in the agreement. Anybody has the similar experience or know the employment law and would like to share?
