在美國冒充他人簽字，後果嚴重到什麽程度？

遭遇係裏變態導師，不願簽一些很reasonable的要求，如OPT,想冒充她簽字，不知後果最嚴重能嚴重到什麽程度 （如果查出來的話）？
另外，應該沒人去查OPT是否真的是it簽的吧？
