Indeed, I have long been sufferring verbal/mental abuse at home. I didn't realize this, until recently got involved in this case and began to learn some legal knowledge about "domestic violence". To my knowledge, many male Chinese friends are in similar situation. Women are weak physically. But in some families, they abuse their hu*****ands verbally by complaining, blaming, and even insulting. It's not simply women are more emotional, indeed, venting their frustrations to hu*****ands does no good to the relationship and family at all. In this kind situation, the hu*****and either choose to keep silent so to minimize the impact, or if for some reason, they cannot hold themselves (well, men have emotions too) and blow out, 911 is waiting there. I am buying in this.
