The whole thing got started with verbal argument. Then wife slapped the hu*****and's face. The hu*****and lost the temper and hit the wife with a broom on her back. The wife called 911 and the cops came. The hu*****and got handcuffed before being asked any question. The wife showed the paramedics the bruises on her back. The hu*****and was arrested and taken to the police station. He spent an hour or more in the cell before he was taken the photo and fingerprints. He was handed a complaints/summon by an officer. The charge is "simple assault" and the deion included the wording "minor injuries". What are the implications for career/immigration (the hu*****and is a green card holder)? If the wife is willing to help the hu*****and, are there any chance to get the case dismissed? Another question maybe is way too early to ask is what about the expungement of the arrest record? Can someone provide any suggestion, please? Thanks.
