ask to talk to a social worker in the hospital. This is a great country and there are always resounces available to those in need. In my state, we have state sponsered program for the those with limited financial resources, regardless immigration status.
And keep your dignity, you should not be afraid to give your name etc. After all, it is very easy to know who you are. Good luck.
