I bought a house a few month ago. I hired some chinese contractors to remodel the house. I drafted out a contract which was downloaded online. The contract was kind of standard contract template.
The contractors did really horrible job. The plumbing is all leaking underneath of the house. Unfortunately, I paid them the balance before I fond out all the problems. I am hiring some experts to come in to fix the leaking and re-tile. It probably would cost a few thousand dollars.
My question is how I can get the contractors to pay for the fixing expense. If they refuse to pay, I probably would take this to court. Can I really get my money back?
Thanks in advance.
