please help,do I have a case in this?

I want to buy a house developed by a non profit company. I have contacted them for months and told them I want to buy it. I am waiting for the low interest mortgage from the government and didn't sign the contract(but I did ask if we can sign the contract). I kept contacted them and have asked if there is other people interested in it. they didn't mention anything to me, then ona day when I called, they said they would sell it to someone else. I am very angry and though at least they should ask me if I still want it, they didn't tell me even I have email them at that time. they claimed legally they did nothing wrong because I didn't sign the contract.
I told them I suspect there is discrimination and may take legal action, do you think is there any chance for me? thank you
