車被撞, 求助.

事情發生在8月20日晚6:30PM, 我去學校接4歲的女兒回家的路上. 當時是下班時間, 車很多, 車素也很慢. 我從小路右轉拐上大路, 約300尺左右,並右道後準備上高速公路. 就在高速公路入口處, 我前麵的一輛大的SUV停了下來. 我也就停了下來. (我想停下有幾秒鍾, 因為我女兒還問"為什麽停") 我女兒問"為什麽停"? 就看見有兩個行人踏上人行道. 我正說"讓人", 就聽見“嘭”的一聲響, 車身猛的一震, 我扭頭看到一輛摩托車躺在我的車左邊. 我下車查看,我的車左後bump and light cover被撞壞了. 而摩托車也被蹭的很慘. 摩托車的driver承認是他的錯. 他看見我的車停下了, 他也試著刹車, 可刹不住, 且打滑,雖然想避讓,但沒有讓開, 撞了我的車的左後bump. 我們當時交換了保險和駕照,摩托車的driver是個20多歲的ABC, 樣子很誠實, 我也沒想到要叫警察,也沒想到要找證人,(隨然開了15年的車, 但確是第一次撞車, 沒有經驗). 我們當時交換了保險和駕照,就讓他走了.
第二天, 我和他的保險公司(state farm)聯係, (因我的車是因97年的, 我隻買了報對方的liability), 報告了這件事, 他的保險agent開始還nice, 說要和她的被保人連係, verify事情的經過. 可已15天過去了, 我已打了幾次電話給他的保險agent,得到的答複就是被保人沒有給agent回話.

She is not nice any more. The agent said that there is a 40 days investingation period and if her insuree does not answer her call, she will write a report and if there is not respond from her insuree within 3 years, then I can go to court, she cannot do anything more about it now. I estimated my damage in a body shop and the total adustments for repair is about $1,300. I just wondering what I can to do now? Can anyone help? Thanks a lot.
