這種情況下我應該報警還是刑事訴訟？

兩周前在家裏辦了個Party, 人比較雜，有幾人用了主臥的洗手間，前天突然發現床頭櫃裏的鑽戒不見了，和LG商量後，把懷疑目標定在一人身上，但此時我是應該報警還是直接對那人提刑事訴訟呢？
