It is actually difficult for you to be able to

keep your child and not to pay anything to your wife. Unless you have evidence to show that you wife physically abused your child, or neglected your child or is on drugs, it is almost impossible for you to get sole custody.

You best hope is joint custody (if she also fights for it). It is possible that she may not want custody. I personally know a few Chinese ladies doing that for obvious reasons (easier to ger married with someone else later).

In addition, it is unlikely that you do not have to pay alimony as long as your wife has no serious issues (drugs or crimes).
