Can you explain in more detailed about this?

My question is that, for example, if I get TN on Aug 1st, 2007 and the visa will end on July 30, 2008. If I applied Green card on Aug 10, 2007 by filing all documentation, then I will wait for the result. If I still couldn't get any reply or result by July 30, 2008, can I still renew my TN visa on July 30, 2008? Or because of my green card application, I can not renew my TN visa on July 30, 2008 anymore?
