call the issuer of the report to correct information

Correct your info. with the bureau that issued your report. I had a similar situation years ago, and fixed it by calling them. It might take some time, since you may have to submit proof.

My identity was mixed with another person with different SSN and gender. Even it's so obvious, the one whom I talked to kind of reluctant to correct the information. You need to be firm with them.
