請問單身老貓和各位XDJM

我住的APARTMENT的牆上有這個note;This area contains chemicals to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. California health & safety code section 25249.6.我搬進時不知道,合同上也沒寫.想搬離,break lease是否有理不受罰?因為從東岸搬到西岸已被罰了很多$.實在不想住在這兒,但不知這個理由是否充足?先謝謝了!
