收到莫名其妙的the law office 的信

今天突然收到一個從 Maryland 的Law office 的信。說是代表一公司收我們$2000 (包括律師費$300). 查了一下那個公司，像是個在Maryland 的租房公司。可我們從來沒有在Maryland 租過房子。並且名字也不完全對（middle name).請問我們應該怎莫辦。第一次遇到這樣的事，感覺挺擔心的。想先問問這邊的專家，免得沒事弄小，小事弄大。
