Just try it. You may try to apply different credit cards from different institutes, such as banks, financial companies, or department stores even gas tations. The latter two would be more easier places to get credit cards.

At last, but not least, you can definitely get credit card from your bank, in which you open accounts. However, it would be a security card, which means you have to make some amounts of deposit before you can swipe it to purchase, but it IS a credit card.
