Did he agreed to pay everything for your injure in written or in oral. If in the oral, then doesn't mean anything. You can find a lawyer who specializes on body injure. But I really doubt it's worth the money to have sue consider you have to pay partial to the lawyer. So just take that 50% payment or more if you can bargain with your schoolmate.
