老貓, help please

My hu*****and is trying to set up a company under hs own name, and I wasn't happy since I never thought he would do that. He said his reason is to protect me from legal trouble if there is some in the future. I tried to tell him that if it's LLC, then the family assets would be protected, the liability only goes agaist the assets in LLC doesn't matter if it's under one name or both names, he was furious.

My hu*****and is a good man if he is in good mood, if he is not, he would do what ever it takes to hurt me. I have been married to him for over 15 years, he is so easily get offended and very hard to let little things to go away. I am hoping the best for our marriage, but I can garranty the marriage will work forever as I hoped. I wanted the business to be set up under both my name and his name and he was very upset and said I don't trust him, but he insist to only list himself as the business owner.

So my question is: if the marriage doesn't work out, will I get the equal share too? What is the disadvantage to have only his name as the owner? Am I too unreasonable to ask him to have my name as one of the owners too?
