I won a bid on ebay. But before I make transaction with seller. I found he didn't reveal information completely. So I and the seller went into a negotiation to try to work things out. But at a point, he thought I was backing out from deal. So he sent me the email below:
"You are obviously trying to back of the deal as per E-BAY rules and regulations. As a result, you are helf accountable to fullest extent of the law. By the way I am a Lawyer.I will be contacting the credit bureau and ensuring legal action will be taken against you. Ebay will also be contacted. You will be charged a "declination fee" as per US State Law=-Section
103.B.
You will be receiving legal claims against you in the mail soon."
My question is: how can he do that with credit bureau? Is there anyway he can damage my credit if he is a real lawyer?
What is US State Law=-Section 103.B. about?
Any input is welcome. And I will updated the further devlopment with it.
A real and interesting case
