I forgot to present in court at the designated date!

I got a ticket for mistakenly changing lane in Jan. I didn't see the designated date (in March) on the ticket which i was asked to present in court.Recently i just found that i didn't present in the court at that day.
What should i do? I haven't received any mails from court or police. Will i be fined or sentenced to jail?
Should i contact court or DMV to find out my record?
