請教關於Separation Agreement

我在加州,已經和LG分居超過半年,(同一個房子,不同屋),請問分居的公證文件(Separation Agreement)去找什麽部門做?到法庭一定要這樣的公證嗎?孩子證明可以嗎?謝謝
