1) Why would you hit send button? Why would you think the phone company have to tell you "You SHOULD not hit send button"? You should notice something wrong with your phone card. Each time you make call with phone card, it should tell you how many minutes you have left. If can't be possible that your miniutes never or rarely decrease! Maybe you found out that after hit send button, your miniutes never decrease so you always hit send button.

2) By default, you have internal dialing, you need to tell Cingular you do not need that. So it is not Cingular's problem.
