Don't worry about social security tax. When you don't need to pay Federal Income Tax or State Income Tax, you are generally not required to pay social security tax.

Even if you are wrong, what the IRS will do is to send you a bill of the tax due plus some interest. But in your case, it will be a small number. So forget about it and sleep soundly.
