記住報稅的原則:
You need to pay only tax on the income you earned. It is immaterial how you calculate it. Yes, IRS may disagree with you on the way you figure out your tax. But as long as you pay the correct amount of tax, you won't be penalized even in the worst case! If you claim the amount you received from Amazon as income, enter the actual cost as expenses. The bottom line is that the taxable income should be your net profit.

A professional accountant may do it differently. But you won't get any trouble from the IRS by doing this way.
