Any input?A tree cutter charged me $5500 for removing

an uprooted tree. They asked me to pay $1000 on my credit card. My insurance agent thinks it's high(my hu*****and too). My question is, if the insrance doesn't pay for the rest of it(my deductble is $1000), do I have to pay the remaining balance? Can I win in a small claim court? Don't blame me for being to stupid. I wasn't thinking at that time and this couple were very aggressive and pushy. They called my insurance and talked to an agent and kept on urging me they already approved it. My insurance agent said they are looking into it. I gave them the names of the agents they and I talked too before I had them cut the tree. They did say I could let them cut it but I didn't say how much.
