you test drive the demo car and sign the agreement to buy a new car. The new car is delivered to you from the factory.

If the new car is defective, the dealership will fix it for free. Lemon law kicks in if the problems can't be fixed. Nobody can guarantee that the new car will be delievered to customer defect-free.
