you may need to be interviewed when you apply for GC in the later. According to law, you can have within 180 days for out of status to adjust your h1b case within your h1b 6 years period. H1b transfer is a new one actually. So, if you did not tell the truth, you need to withdraw the old case. Then apply for your h1b with a new case, this time, you need to tell the truth. So, you should get it.
