H1b申請遇到麻煩，請教各位，萬分感謝

我原來在加州一個華人公司工作，身份是H1b,今年５月份我辭掉工作到另外一個州找工作，這個華人老板人不錯，答應幫我保持身份直到我在另外一個州找到工 作為止。９月份我找到了工作，向移民局申請transfer H1b. 最近收到移民局的信件，要求補充材料，信件的原文是這樣的：

copies of pay records(leave and earnings statement, and pay stubs,etc.) with previous employer for the three months prior to the filling of the present petition.

現在的問題是從我辭掉工作到找到工作將近４個月，原來的公司隻給我保持身份，所以也沒有最後３個月的工資單；我不知道公司是如何幫我保持身份的，現在不知道怎麽辦才好，不知哪位有類似經驗，或者有什麽好的主意，然後我再和原來的公司聯係看看如何解決這個問題。
