i have the same experience.

I have similar experience. one night the glass of my car was broken while it was parked in the apartment parking lot. initially i thought someone broke it, I reported to the landlord, he checked surveillance tape and found out that it was hit by a falling nut. the landlord refused to pay my loss claming that it was a natural cause and not covered by his insurance. I didn't know how to do that time and just thought it was my bad luck.
