If yes,
1) You are married. You may choose either married file jointly or separately. It seems to me that you want to file jointly, right? If that is the case, be sure to include your spouse's income in China and also be sure to ask your spouse to sign the tax form. The only problem is that it will take some time for you to apply an itin number for your spouse. So you may want to apply for a late filing if your spouse doesn't have too much income in China. Or you can even file as separately now and do an Amended file later as long as you file the Amended file in three years.
2) In any case, you have no way to deduct that $300 per month unless it was an US court order.
