I made an excess contribution to my 403B plan in 2003 and yesterday got the excess amount and earning returned. The letter that accompanies the return said that the excess amount should be included in 2003's tax return, however, I don't know where (i.e. on which line of form 1040) I should include this excess amount... The letter also said that I would receive 1099-R forms for this amount in Jan. 2005, but isn't it too late for my 2003 tax return?
Tax experts, please advise. Many thanks in advance!
