Hi, friends,
I have a question about my tax return. I'm F-1, last year I worked on campus and the money I earned was less than the treaty between China and US, so I did not have to pay any tax, but my school's HR office sent me a 1042-S form, which is a Foreign Person's US Source Income Subject to Withholding form. My question:
Could I submit this 1042-S form to IRS instead of W-2 form?
Thanks very much
