If the program you intended to get into is a graduate program, you have to take 9 credits in order to qualify for a full time F-1 student. Whether you can get accounting OPT, it depends on the school program, how the school fill in your I-20. Usually, the int'l advisor will sign the form for your OPT. Therefore, the school has to consent it first. Check with your school to see what they will say.
