seeking advice

These days, he was complainning that he has high blood pressure. One day he told me that sometimes he feels he is dying. Then he said something that shocked me, he said 'if I am dying of high blood pressure, heart attack, or stroke during the day, noone is at home, I want to turn on the gas and burn the house.' What should I do? I don't knoe if he is bad mouthing, or for real. But that really make me thinking that my life is being threatened. But he is my dad.
