well, I have a friend working in another bank,she told me

they get commission for every new account they acquire, personal bank accounts, including credit card, checking account,savings account...ect.

In my case, they sent new credit cards to me,not a debt card.

I posted this in two forums at wenxuecity, and found people here don't know much about credit score, what components contribute to the score, banking...etc.. That is fine. but the fact that some people are so assertive and beleive they know everything is funny.

I come here just to see whether other people have encountered similar situation, just want to make sure before I go to talk to the branch, because that bank clerk is a Chinese originally from China. If he was not a Chinese, I would just talk to his manager and have no need to trouble myself so much to put it online.
