回複:Your wife should apply for B2 visa at US consulate

各位大俠把我搞糊塗了。下麵是本人GOOGLE的結果。

Under NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) Canadian and Mexican professionals may apply to enter the U.S. under the TN immigration classification. The TN process for Mexican professionals is identical to the H1B application process. The TN process for Canadian professionals does not require U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) certification of a Labor Conditions Application or prior approval by the U.S. Customas and Immigration Service (USCIS). The result is that qualifying Canadian nationals trained in one of the professions listed on NAFTA, Schedule 2, may obtain TN immigration status and enter the U.S. in one day by applying at a U.S. port of entry or pre-flight inspection center. TN1 status is granted in one year increments with unlimited renewals, requires no forms when applied for at the port of entry or pre-flight inspection center, and is available to some people who may not qualify for H1B status.

The spouse and unmarried minor (under age 21) children of a TN1 worker who are Canadian citizens are granted TD immigration status. Dependents who are not Canadian citizens must apply to a U.S. consulate for a TD visa. Dependents will be admitted to the U.S. for the period of time coinciding with the TN1's period of stay. Dependents entering the U.S. after the TN1 worker should present a certified copy of the worker's I-94, a supporting letter from the employer, and a copy of the TN1's original application for TN1 status. The procedure may be facilitated if the dependents apply at the same pre-flight inspection center or port of entry as the principle, as the application may still be on file there. Dependents in TD status are not eligible for employment. However, they can attend school in TD status.

太太是中國公民,加拿大永久居民。本人是加拿大國籍並持有TN1簽證。到底是應申請TD簽證還是B2簽證?????謝了。
