2) Do not forget to protect yourself and think of the worst case scenario.

We can not judge your hu*****and and do not know what is in his mind. He might be a very nice person with good intentions; he might be a not-so-good person with some ideas beyond your imagination. However, it won't do you any harm if you try to think more and protect yourself.
