Can I have both US and Canada Driver Licenses?

Is it legal to have a US driver license and a Canadian dirver license at the same time?

I know it is illegal to have two from two US states, or have two from two Canadian provinces, but I'm not sure if I can have one from a US state, one from a Canadian province at the same time?
