We just moved out from the aptment we lived in last five years.We always keep the aptment clean and did the steam carpet cleaning at least once a year by ourself during we lived there. when we moved out, we cleaned the whole apt.and checked out all the facilities with the manager. After made sure every things, the manager said the owoner should give all deposit back in three weeks since we have lived there long term without caused any problem. But we only received a part of the deposit and a deposit refund form which listed all the deductions: repairs:$85, cleaning:$85, painting: $145, carpet/drape cleaning:$80. The owner did not give any detail about each deduction.
In this kind of situattion,how can I get my rest of deposit by and is any of these deductions soud reseasonable? I will be apreciated to get the suggetions from people who have that kind of experinces.
