Gift from non US person to US person is not subject to gift tax. Recipients of foreign gifts do not report the gift as income tax. However, Form 3520 (“Annual Return to Report Transactions With Foreign Trusts and Receipt of Certain Foreign Gifts”) needs to file if the gifts are more than $100,000.
