Old cat,help me!Urgen Credit problem!

Before I wanna move in a new place,the landlord asked to check my credit history.I paid her $35 and let her run the process.After one day, she told me my credit was very bad due to there were several unpaid payment(Total 4K dollors) regarding medical issue.The fact is that I have never seen a doctor or had any treatment since I came to USA.Plus,I always pay everything full amount on time.This is the first time I know something about my credit history.She suggested me to correct all the mistakes if there were.I don't know what to do now.Is the process she did accurate?Should I get a copy of my credit report from her?After I get it, where should I go or whom can I ask for help to correct all the mistakes?Thanks for the help!
