It cannot be any court in Manhattan because the case has to be filed where your ex-hu*****and lived. Brookly, however is a big place. In Brooklyn, you can file a divorce proceeding in the Kings County Clerk's Office, Supreme Court, 360 Adams Street, 1st Floor. Here is the contact information:

I cannot be sure that the Family Court takes divorce cases. It seems to me that the family court deals with child custody mostly. I would suggest you try the Supreme court first. Don'd be fooled by the name "supreme" court, which is actually the lowest court in NY state. The highest court is called the Court of Appeals.
